It's 280 miles from Florence to Clayton, Alabama. No child could walk that far to the Shoals...but he could be transported here...or anywhere.
Phenix Wilkerson is four years old and lives in a town of just over 3,000 people. The Barbour County Sheriff's Office has been looking on land and water since he was reported missing Saturday just after Noon (after lunch) from his home. He's wearing light clothing and no shoes or coat.
Currently, the only family posting online is a cousin of the grandmother. Only two photos have been given to the sheriff's office. There's no large city within an hour's drive of Clayton. There are so few facts available at this time but the minimum of information that's been reported.
The low temperature in Clayton last night was 31 degrees. Phenix should be able to find shelter to stay warm in that climate. If he's out there. He's four years-old. Unless he has developmental problems, and that's something that hasn't been reported.
We just had a message from a reader who criticized our requests for prayer. How very sad that is. We believe in facts, but it's a fact that God is out there. He hears prayers; let's all pray that Phenix hasn't been harmed as so many Alabama children are every day.
PRAY FERVENTLY FOR PHENIX!!!
Anyone criticizing prayers needs them most of all.
