Pages on Facebook dedicated to animal welfare aren't difficult to find, but what about actual news sites? While not dedicated exclusively to local animals, the Shoals is lucky to have two sites that dedicate major space to animal adoption and welfare.

First, the Quad-Cities Daily. This "online newspaper" regularly features a list of animals available for adoption locally, as well as featuring upcoming fundraisers for our furry friends. Be sure to like the Quad-Cities Daily on Facebook:

Next is Pen-N-Sword. PNS is a news magazine that regularly presents not only upcoming animal centered events, but offers investigative reporting into local situations and lobbying in Montgomery. Like to be sure not to miss any of its articles:
