Contact Tuscumbia City Council

Tuscumbia mayor Kerry Underwood says the city council may not approve a .10 per meter raise for the animal shelter. Budget crisis? Many are saying that's Underwood's standard excuse. How long does a budget crisis last?

If you live in Tuscumbia...or even if you don't...contact the city council to tell them you want them to approve a raise in funding for the Colbert County animal shelter. There has been no raise on the base city payment for 12 years. Even 1.15/month is a joke, but it's better than the current 1.05.

These individuals work for you. You pay them an actual salary. Tell them what you want. They were all voted in and they can all be voted out. If Tuscumbia doesn't do its share to help the animals of Colbert County, Prince will not be the only one calling for a boycott of the city.

BTW, where does Mayor Kerry Underwood live? Public records indicate Muscle Shoals. Are they out of date?
