This New Year's Day we have a challenge for our readers. We're sure you've read for years about those who resolve not to purchase anything new for an entire year. Obviously some new things are a necessity, but many aren't.
Our personal resolution isn't not to purchase anything, but not to buy anything new. Antique and thrift stores are a treasure trove of items just waiting to again be useful.
So this year, save a tree and lower the earth's temperature and refuse heaps by practicing some creative and selective purchasing. Above all this, resolve to be kind and be informed.
Just think where we'll all be if everyone of us resolves to do better in 2019!
