In the For What It's Worth Department, we included the Detroit headquarters because the neon can change colors. Now that's a really necessary expense, isn't it?

And KNOW your taxpayer dollars in the city of Florence are going to the Salvation Army in various "methods" by the current "regime" of Andy Betterton and company whether you want to support this organization OR NOT! Dandy Andy and the current city council think they know better than YOU the taxpayer where to spread "charity" around with YOUR money!

ReplyDeleteThe legal problem with it is that not all tax payers are Christian, nor do all tax payers qualify, because of religious reasons, for help from their organization.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, the city is unconstitutionally favoring a specific religion using the funding from taxpayers that shouldn't have to give money to that religious organization that shuns lgbtq/trans/non Christian people.
Steve Holt gave them $40,000 too.
Who is going to audit the city and charge them with their crimes against the public?
Why does the constitution seem to mean NOTHING to ANY law enforcement in alabama?
This isn't the wild west, and I'm tired of being arrested for existing in public stating my concerns against their various crimes.
We know at least one donation was challenged by a Florence resident. He went through the Freedom From Religion organization. Many Salvationist fundamentals are totally opposed to actual Bible teachings.
