Florence to Pay 291K Hacker Ransom?

Steve Price, Florence Information Systems Director

According to the article linked below, the City of Florence (read: Taxpayers) will be paying $291,000.00 to an Internet hacker who now has possession of the town's sensitive data. The hacker(s) allegedly entered the system via a bogus DHL invoice sent to Information Systems Director Steve Price.

Is that a bottle of Mylanta behind Price's right shoulder. If he didn't need it before, we bet he does now.
