A Visit with Casey Cole White (and His Laundry)

Life must be rough at the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer, Alabama. Dirty laundry takes on a new meaning when you have to hang it in your living room/den/bedroom combo. Unfortunately, that's something White will have to endure until at least 2061 when he will be eligible for parole at the age of 78.

If you're wondering if Casey is supposed to have this phone, the answer is no. We understand the number at the top of the screen is an Athens exchange. Ever the Lothario, White may have gotten the burner phone from a female visitor. My, my, what would Vicky think...if only she were here?

Do you suppose Casey is plotting his next escape?

Convicting Casey White - Part II

You have two choices:

1. Casey Cole White obtained limited information from Vicky White on the murder of Connie Ridgeway and used it to write a confession that would bring him back to the Lauderdale County Jail.

2. Casey White was employed by an unknown individual whom he won't name to kill Connie Ridgeway for some unknown reason.

Remember, the more logical answer isn't always the correct one. The Lauderdale County District Attorney's office is contending the second scenario is true. White is under indictment on two counts of Capital Murder - one count is for murder during a burglary/theft and one count of murder for pecuniary gain.

We have to ask how the state hopes to prove its case if it can't or won't name the individual who ostensibly hired White. There are many theories about who would gain from Mrs. Ridgeway's death, but most are worthy of Dale Gribble. (A jury could still find White not guilty on the murder for hire, while finding him guilty on the charge of murder during the commission of another crime.)

Is this a possible reason the state wants the Vicky White murder tried first? Will it be able to discover this mysterious Mr. X in the added time between the two trials? If they haven't found him yet, we're not betting the farm that they will by August.

Convicting Casey White - Part I

Casey Cole White now faces two murder trials. The first, currently scheduled for mid-June, is in connection with the suicide of his partner in escape Vicky White. The indictment is for Felony Murder.

Prosecutors have alleged that Vicky orchestrated and carried out Casey's escape under no duress. He obviously followed along, with the pair assisting each other in their multi-state flight from justice, but is that enough to convict Casey?

We also have to ask why Judge Benjamin Graves insisted that Vicky's murder be addressed before the Capital Murder case in the death of Connie Ridgeway. That case is to be tried in August.

We've attempted to look at it from all angles and see no rationale for this timeline that many opposed. There's just no obvious horse to talk here.

Others have recently asked about Casey's current defense team. All attorneys are ostensibly from Huntsville and working with noted attorney Robert Tuten. The Madison County lawyer has had several infamous clients over the years, including Christy Bray Scott of Russellville.

If you question the logic in the case involving Vicky, you'll definitely be bemused in the case involving Connie Ridgeway...

Alabama Number One in Death Sentences

Alabama is number one in few things. If our state is ever at the top of any list, you can bet that it's almost always in a negative way.

Latest data show that our sweet home is tops in death row inmates per capita. While we're close to the top in murders, we're not quite there...yet. That makes it appear that our judges and juries are hardy supporters of capital punishment.

As more and more states abolish the death penalty, this "right to life" state is anything but. Take Casey Cole White. Why is the murder of Connie Ridgeway a Capital crime?

If it's only due to the fact that it's a murder for hire, shouldn't Lauderdale detectives be actively searching for the man who supposedly hired Casey? Why is Lauderdale footing the bill for two murder trials? Simply hold the trial for Mrs. Ridgeway's death; if White is found guilty, there's no need to hold the second trial.

Hey, it's only the taxpayers' money...

Breaking: New Mug Shot and Court Hearing for White

Above is the latest mugshot of Casey Cole White taken late yesterday. The escaped felon will be the subject of a status hearing at noon today at the Lauderdale County Courthouse.

After Judge Benjamin Graves finalizes the paperwork, White will be ready for transport to Kilby Receiving outside Montgomery as soon as he arrives from Indiana. Sheriff Singleton is expected to hold a presser at some point after the hearing.

It is not known (or at least not released publicly) who will be present to represent White. It's unlikely, but still possible, that Judge Graves will not make a decision on the escapee's status today.

We'll be following. Please, prayers for everyone involved.

Casey White as Snake Plissken in "Escape from F! Town"

Don't miss the reboot of the Escape series. After his abysmal reception in the MCU, Wyatt Russell is no longer a part of the project. Casey While, until now a bit actor, will portray the iconic Snake Plissken.

Joining him as his ageing new squeeze is a reported star of duck porn known for her sensuous waddle. Billed only as Slicky Vicky, the actress has so far failed to confirm her plum role. A hologram of Orson Welles is also reported to be a major addition to the cast as the Lauderdale County sheriff.

What prompted producers to offer the movie's lead to Casey? Reportedly, he and his ducky duchess were discovered at the Florence Escape Room where they recently became the first to solve the new puzzle - Escape from Lauderdale County Jail.

Casey White: Haldol Moobs?

During the past week, several have pointed out that, if our infamous escapee is on anti-psychotic drugs, he's not now. This could be a very dangerous situation for Vicky White or anyone who comes into the felon's path.

We've also seen comments about Casey White's enlarged breasts. What's going on? We asked someone in the medical profession:

Males with Klinefelter's Syndrome sometimes have enlarged mammaries. Since White is a father, we can rule that out. Older, as in 70s or 80s with diminished hormones? No, he's in his late 30s. That usually leaves just drugs, and many psych drugs can have this effect. Haldol is an older drug that is very cheap at this point and often preferred to treat prisoners who aren't deemed worthy of state of the art meds. If I had to guess, Casey has been on haloperidol or something very similar for quite some time.

For those who have asked about the pair securing run of the mill medications, the two won't always be front page news. Travel out of the Southeast and some cities have a doc in the box on every corner, some of them "free" clinics. So don't worry too much about Vicky's waddle getting out of hand without her meloxicam.

Escape: Facts Keep Changing?

As of Sunday evening, both Casey Cole White and Vicky Sue White are still missing. He's a 38 year-old confessed hit man, and she's a 55 year-old corrections official. A match certainly not made in heaven, but perhaps somewhere much farther south?

In the past three days, there have been conflicting reports on three issues. How tall is C. White? Perhaps at his height, it really doesn't matter, but is he 6'6" or 6'9"? Does he have hair or a shaved head? The above photo was just released today, but on Friday Sheriff Singleton presented this pic as having been taken February 25th of this year:

Except for the ears, there's not much resemblance. Who knows what the two look like after barbering and hair coloring?

While not an inconsistency, all reports are leading the reader to believe these two are still together. Obviously, Vicky thought she was part of a duo, but who thinks the inmate who has killed at least one woman and assaulted others will hang onto her when she becomes a liability?

Most fugitives are caught sooner or later. Let's hope the $10K reward helps ensure it's sooner for Casey White.

HAPPY MAY DAY
