Pope's Tavern or the War Room?

 

The following is a list of equipment the Florence City Council just approved for Pope's Tavern and its annex:

We have to admit to being taken aback by the two nanobeams. Is this anything akin to a death ray? Apparently these little devices at $200.00 a pop filter out signals from nearby transmissions enabling better reception. 

Good! So now the citizens of Florence can rest easy that none of those throngs of patrons to the museum will be able to walk out with a cotton loom in their pocket. Speaking of those throngs, does anyone keep records? It would seem logical that the more patrons of record, the more funding would be available for the museum.

Sadly, Florence isn't a town given to museum going. The last few times we were in Kennedy-Douglass at mid-morning, only the docent was there. Oh, well, we're sure there's a local tractor pull somewhere making up for our museum system's abysmal showing.
