UNA Ain't What It Used to Be

What were things like in your parents' or grandparents' day? Certainly not like they are now. Due to that new monument to modern healthcare about to open in East Florence, many have been posting photos of the first Florence hospital on East Tuscaloosa Street. Quite a difference isn't there?

Why should our university be any different? We want it to be forward thinking. We want it to grow. We want it to be self-sustaining...oh, wait. Just what is involved in the latter? Promoting the overstuffed college of business at the expense of anything else? Turning the necessity of a business end of matters into a machine that terrorizes anything in its way?

No, UNA is nothing like it once was. We should all remember that so many things are better, but also try to curb the rising bad. That brings us to a certain survey. We understand the satisfaction survey included only support type employees and not faculty. We also understand things didn't go well with the survey results. No, we don't have all the information yet, but we plan to.

So how about faculty? Are they happy? Here's one that isn't.

Or should we say wasn't? What happened? When this many wagons are circled, you can know it wasn't good.

On a closing note, the Ministry of Truth has told us that murder is good. People who mention it are bad. Just thought we would pass that on-dit along. We've also heard from Hercule and Aunt Jane. Their takes on a recent murder are interesting to say the least.
