In 2019, the Easter Seals Foundation was selling its vacated building on Avalon Avenue. The charity offered to sell to Muscle Shoals City Schools, which turned it down. The property was then purchased by two local developers for $857,250.00.
The developers then removed the asbestos from the building and razed the structure. We're sure this wasn't cheap, but we sincerely doubt the cost even approached 1.5 million.
The developers then placed the property on the market. Guess who purchased it?
