Opposed to Florence Having a Medical Marijuana Dispensary?

 

A month ago, we blogged on Killen preparing for a marijuana dispensary while Florence sat idle: Florence v Killen.

Now it seems the City of Florence has gotten up to speed on legislation to allow such a business in the Renaissance town. Happy? Not everyone is.

We commend the City for this action. For those opposed, why not start your condemnations with a real problem - alcohol? We'll await your logic in this.

Will Florence actually get a dispensary? There are current plans for only 37, or slightly more than one for every two Alabama counties. 

If Florence truly wants one of these dispensaries, let's hope Tim Melson and other leaders are lobbying as we write this. This is good. This is the future. Let's support this!
