Gone is the Sheffield municipal judge. Gone is the City prosecutor. Gone is the town's attorney. Steve Stanley reportedly terminated each of them late Friday.
It appears that Mayor Stanley is attempting to clean up Sheffield. After all, the FBI is in town sniffing around and asking questions for which there are no nice, pat answers.
Were Leigh Anne Landis, Ben Gardner Jr., and Keith Worsham surprised? Perhaps they were pleased to be out of that cauldron of corruption (think Inspiration Landing).
Any attorneys out there want their jobs? The City is taking applications. One caveat: No Birmingham School of Law grads need apply.
