No Gasoline? Don't Blame the Former Mayor...

Before COVID, we'd reconciled ourselves to a possible life changing event. After all, short, fat Korean man might eventually get a bomb that would make it to Guam. Our lives would change, perhaps forever. We never expected a plague straight out of Stephen King.

We also never expected a gasoline shortage of any magnitude. Of course, there's really not a shortage, just a supply problem. Shall we blame Biden? How about the hackers? No, we can't blame them. If we did, we'd have to rethink Mayor Holt being responsible for the hacking of Florence Utilities. Then again, perhaps it was Agatha (Andy) all along?

Speaking of the plague... Have you noticed how many comment on Facebook that they're happy the vaccine is bringing the number of victims down, but don't want to take it themselves? It's certainly their choice, but what if everyone felt that way?

One question: If you now contract COVID, do you want us to feel sympathy for you?

For those who've had a long 14 months:

  1. While you are twisting yourself into a pretzel Shoalanda to blame the Biden administration for the Russian hack on the pipeline, you might throw in the mix that President Biden signed an executive order boosting America's funding for cyber defense and and to outline new security standards for commercial software...BUT your Repulsivecan President Drumph DID sign one to build some fence at the border so that kind of evens things out in YOUR mind probably SMH.....just what steps have been taken at Florence Utilities???? AND the ransom WAS paid by the City of Florence and according to all credible news sources Colonial pipeline will NOT pay a ransom prior to the pipeline being restored..... so score one for JOE! Keep twisting!

    1. We think most readers saw the Biden line for what it was...a joke.

BTW, Colonial Pipeline DID pay a huge ransom in cybercurrency.

    2. The HUGE ransom, which has not been confirmed BTW, was FIVE million DURING the cyber attack......a small amount for a hacker to ask of a HUGE petroleum company....twist on Shoalanda!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I read the hackers know what the insurance company will pay and that’s the ransom they ask for.
