Only One Qualified Applicant for Sheffield Chief?

 

Our source at Sheffield City Hall tells us that there have been only four applicants to replace former police chief Ricky Terry. Before you say that's not too bad, only one fulfilled the basic requirements.

There are 11 requirements listed, with one applying to veterans only and one to be fulfilled after hire. So the job requirements are basically nine in number to apply. 

We have to agree with our informant: Why is anyone who can't meet the basics even applying? Are they special? Hmmm...
