Who Controls the MSNHA/Muscle Shoals Did What?

Several have asked exactly what organization controls the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area endeavor. While all such areas come under the authority of the National Park Service, the local heritage area appears to be under the direct guidance of UNA.

If you want to complain or if you simply want more information, you might want to start there. We have had no updates on any investigation into the hacking/sabotage of the walking tours.

We had a comment to our blog on the Muscle Shoals/Deshler game that couldn't be posted due to language. The commenter stated that our reader was wrong - the entire Muscle Shoals first string and some of the second string played the whole ball game.

We have to ask: If this is true, weren't there often too many players on the field? Sigh...another fine product of the Muscle Shoals school system.

MSNHA/Tours Reported to FBI & Ethics Commission

After our blog on the Florence/UNA walking tours, several readers asked if the FBI could intervene. We mistakenly told them no, that it was not a federal matter. We were quite mistaken. In fact, we know of two local individuals who have contacted the FBI as well as other agencies in an attempt to bring the perpetrator of this crime to justice. You may expect it to be a long road to adjudication.

One reader sent us this along with the above graphic:

If a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act did not occur, on the federal level, was it misuse/misappropriation on the part of the MSNHA? I can't believe that organization would cover something up and risk loosing federal dollars.

Also, how has Project Say Something (also doing business as PSS Collaborative) maintained 501c3 status? Literally all they do is lobby to have the monument removed, and I think it is pretty well known who they want to win/loose. What would President Trump say if he knew federal dollars were going toward activism? I guess it really does pay to protest.

One of the first questions we would like answered: Did the MSNHA know the tour descriptions had been changed? That group has already replied in the negative; however, it seems extremely odd that it hadn't a clue.

Next, we would like to know if any city, agency, or law enforcement has yet spoken to the individual whom many are accusing. Is there proof?

Finally, are the Florence merchants who donated to establish the downtown walking tour aware of it being taken over by radicals and can they expect to retrieve any of their misspent money?

For honest city government, vote Steve Holt on October 6th!
