Makin' Whoopee in Lauderdale County Schools Has Gotten "Embarrassing"

 

There was a time when "makin' whoopee" in high school usually involved a few soul kisses between the quarterback and a cheerleader. These days it often involves a student and faculty/staff member.

A few days ago we received word of still another such dalliance; however, we've not been able to verify the details. We do not publish unless events can be verified. 

However, we've received some messages from a Lauderdale mother (we never name names) who has an interesting take on the situation:

 

What is wrong with the school system, indeed? Could it be nepotism? Does the Lauderdale County school system make rules and regulations clear to new hires? Are these subjects touched on in what used to be called "in service training?"

There's enough misconduct between teachers/staff and students to produce a bestseller...
