This is Kaiden. He was recently removed from his biological mother's custody after receiving a beating from his stepfather. The mother, stepfather, and two or three supporters have denied Kaiden's injuries. If you find this as nauseating as we do, read on for a comment from Kaiden's father:
Kaiden opened the door for the police & DHR investigator & then he proceeded to run out the door with nothing on but underwear in 50 degree weather, so he could ride his bike unsupervised while the mother was in the back of the house vacuuming. Upon our arrival at the Fountain household Kaiden was placed in mine & my wife’s care.
At first we didn’t know the extent of the “bruising” until digging deeper into the report. At first, we were not going to hold the mother accountable due to her claiming she was at work during the time of the incident. Since then, she has been protecting Ricky Fountain (the abuser) on social media & making a joke out of all of this as if it’s a normal occurrence for them.
We have decided to pursue custody of Kaiden due to the unsafe nature of the Fountain household. I’m coming to my community to ask for help to pay for a lawyer & get Justice for Kaiden. If you can’t donate then please consider sharing his story.
Despite what Mr. & Mrs. Fountain would have you believe, Ricky Fountain currently has six arrests on his RAP sheet, including two for drug charges and two concerning this episode of abuse. Mrs. Fountain has contacted us...and taught us some new words.
Kaiden needs to be with his father and his hopefully new mother. One thing we can all do is pray for this child that he'll grow up happy and have no lasting memories of the abuse.
A final word: The Fountains say anyone who shares pictures of this child's wounds is disseminating child pornography. Just think about that for a few minutes...

I believe you shouldn't ask the community for help to pay for you legal bills. If you want your son back in your control care custody then pay for it yourself. everyone else has to pay for their own legal bills. Just because someone has a record doesn't mean that person hasn't changed and made rights to their wrong. People shouldn't be held accountable for this. What are you are doing to your ex wife is uncalled for, for embarrassing her and humiliating her. There are 1000s of false accusations made to DHR Yearly, and the people who report these should be in JAIL. I would sue you for defamation of character if it were me. I would hire the best attorney to make sure you get yours too. You are even embarrassing your child for publishing this. How sick are you. People who are abused do not like to talk about it much less let their schools friends find out about it. Have some respect
ReplyDeleteMost people don't include legal fees in their budget. The GoFundMe is a simple request; give if you see fit, don't if you don't. We 100% believe this man has every right to expose the violence this child was subjected to. But don't talk about it and Ricky Tyler Fountain won't do it again? Statistics indicate otherwise. If the child is embarrassed, who caused it? Every aspect of the case falls back on Fountain. We think you'll find that any rational, disinterested person feels the same.
DeleteNoone budgets for legal bills, but this isn't everyones responsibility to pay for his legal bills. He can work three jobs like most of us have to fight for our children, and by the way DHR furnishes him an attorney if they do not think the mother is fit to take care of her children. Stop using the public for assistance when they give assistance. If he loves his child he wouldn't be bashing the mother on a public website. sounds to me like he isn't over her, or he wouldn't be using such a site to ruin her life. Keep in mind people are really abused do not go around telling the world about it, and are quite ashamed of the matter, and they do it quietly. I was abused person and I do not want my classmates to know I was abused. There are more private ways to go about the situation and he clearly didn't think before he put her on blast. If he wants custody then why isn't DHR helping him? Why is he needing to seek his own attorney?
ReplyDeleteDHR doesn't help anyone, unfortunately. DHR placed the Franklin County Hartline children with a foster parent who killed both of them. No, no help there. Lauren Fountain did her family a great disservice when she filled her posts with crude language and threats, leaving no doubt that she's an unfit parent. Her ex-partner has not resorted to that type of tactic. We don't say he's perfect; we say he's preferable to her.
DeleteIf you feel like Lauren is an unfit parent you pay those legal bills, if not stop complaining about it. DHR DOES HELP PEOPLE. I feel like if DHR was something was wrong they wouldn't be in her care control and custody. By the way what makes a mother unfit? I would love to hear your input. A mother where the ex is constantly harassing her, and having articles drawn up about her,and if wants to rant about mistreatment hey its okay. It doesn't make her unfit. We can dig into the fathers past too if you want to and pull credit history and we will dig into his wife history to. We can learn the whole story. Can't we.

DeleteBy the way it is not a crime to spank your children in Alabama. People do not realize this. Thank you to the lovely parenthood program that is court ordered through the State of Alabama. They teach this. Know the laws before you accuse someone of being unfit. Also, they teach you, you can only spank on the bottom. No where else. They also teach time out is a better method. Keep in mind kids play rough together, and get bruises, doesn't mean the parents are abusing the kids. I got my knee open as a kid because I fell outside, does it mean my parents abused me?:

Deleteif the children are confiscated by the state why do they (they is DHR) see the child's father has unfit if he does not have the children? why does he need the public to pay for his legal bills? People need to know. Who says partying makes an parent unfit? As long as she does not take the kids to the adult party what makes her unfit? Does it say she is beating the children? What do you call beating a child? Please explain?: Why was her husband in jail?
ReplyDeleteRegardless lets put the children first. The parents do not need to talk about bad about the other parent and try to get along and co parent. I really hate to see this has resulted in the way it has. God bless those kids who are put in the middle of this.
