Perhaps he didn't, but then Bentley, the LuvGuv, did resign. Now Roy Moore, or is that Ray, says he has no intention of leaving the senate race after his November surprise. We'll see.

Hmmm, perhaps Trump would have liked him better if he were named "Ray."

Some of our favorite takes on today's revelations are those claims that Moore's intentions toward the 14 year-old girl were honorable. Sure...he simply didn't want to drive down her street or enter her home to pick her up. He thought a private rendezvous would be avoiding the appearance of evil. He thought a girl her age would be a wise choice to take to public appearances when he ran for office.

A friend told us today that he never thought he would have anything in common with Roy Moore, but in 1979, he too was dating a 14 year-old girl. Of course he was 17 at the time.
